As soon as I met Dr. McCarthy, I felt confident that I had discovered a fantastic dentist. His calm and friendly nature put me at ease, and I truly felt that he cared about me as a person. Soon afterward, I also realized that Dr. McCarthy knows what he is doing. His abilities as a dentist are unsurpassed. Not only has he dealt with all of my normal dental needs, as well as those of my family and friends, he has also helped me over the years with various dental cosmetic treatments, including teeth straightening, bonding, and bleaching. Under his care, my teeth look great and are very healthy.
Dr. McCarthy is always on the forefront of new technology and procedures. He helped my daughter with an implant she needed many years ago when implants were just introduced. His office has the latest equipment and software. Recently when I needed a new crown, I discovered that he is one of the first dentists to actually have the technology and equipment to make crowns in his office. With this technology, he can better serve his patients and immediately make necessary adjustments.
I own my own business, and I know that having the right team and employees is crucial. Dr. McCarthy’s team is top notch, and most of his employees have been with him for many years. They know me by name, and always make me feel welcome!

In more than five decades as a patient, Dr. Lindal is the best dentist I have ever had.
Her clinical skills are superior, exhibiting a high level of craftsmanship while paying special attention to the best aesthetic result.
Her knowledge of the biology and chemistry in dentistry is excellent; she easily explains what work needs to be done, and what is involved, while leaving the final decision to the patient.
As she works, she explains what she is doing step-by-step. I quickly learned how well she knows what she is doing and trust her decisions and dentistry completely.
Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Dr. Lindal is very warm and friendly; her care and dedication to her patients is obvious.

I’ve always been afraid to go to the dentist my whole life, but I feel so welcomed here at Dr. McCarthy’s office. They always make me feel like I am in the hands of people who really care. The whole team has a great way of making me feel comfortable on every visit. I love the state-of-the-art equipment at Dr. McCarthy’s office too, especially the in-office crown machine. I’ve been coming to this same dental office for over 12 years and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Three years ago, I moved out of the area and my kids and I still travel twice a year to Camarillo to see Dr. McCarthy. It is so worth the trip. My teeth have always been sensitive and prone to cavities but Dr. McCarthy has made a terrific difference in the health of my teeth. I can now enjoy ice cream and frozen drinks without pain.
