| Power bleaching has all the advantages of traditional cosmetic whitening, but in a fraction of the time. New technology allows us to whiten the teeth through the use of a plasma arc light (a high-intensity light source) in about an hour. Shade improvements range from subtle to dramatic and vary for everyone. Some patients may require two to three power bleaching treatments to achieve their desired results. We usually recommend that our patients combine the "old" and the new procedures by following up their power bleaching treatment with a "traditional" bleaching kit featuring customized mouth trays for lasting results. |
