Meet Dr. McCarthy
Michael McCarthy, DDS
I feel enrichment in my life knowing I have changed people’s lives for the better and been an integral part in their overall health and well-being. My passion for staying up-to-the-moment means my patients can expect and receive the highest quality and most advanced care in my office. I am committed to excellence, especially when it comes to patient care.
Education and Continuing Education
I find it very rewarding to be able to help patients of all ages achieve and maintain functional, beautiful smiles. To do this, I’ve made sure that I have the education and training patients can feel confident in.
- Undergraduate degree – University of Southern California
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of the Pacific School of Dentistry
I take continuing classes in cosmetic dentistry, implants, conscious sedation, CAD/CAM dentistry, and general oral health to provide better patient care and an improved dental experience. I stay up-to-date with the latest in technology to improve patient care and utilize emerging treatments for optimal results.

In the Office
My team is made up of wonderful, knowledgeable people. They love their job and make patients feel at home. They treat everyone as if they are family members and are always willing to help. They make each visit as enjoyable as possible f or our patients.
Family Life
I live in Camarillo with my wife, Susan, our son, Cameron, two cats named Kishou and Kahuna, and one horse named Soleada. In my free time I enjoy mountain bike riding, snow and water skiing, motorcycle riding, and flying helicopters. I am active in my community through involvement in Casa Pacific, Meadowlark, sponsorship of local sports teams, and the donation of free dentistry to children who are less fortunate.
